Once a fire station that dates back to 1887, this charming building in Marylebone is home to the special boutique hotel. The Chiltern Firehose did not only preserve the name, but it also kept many of the building’s historical features.
The original façade of the fire station has been restored, the former ladder shed is now the guest lobby, and the engine house hosts the famous restaurant dubbed as “The Ladder Shed”!. The interiors were designed by French-based Studio KO and it glows with vintage and glamour.
The Telegraph newspaper gave a 10 out of 10 rating to the hotel’s services, describing it as “friendly, polished, relaxed and swift”. The hotel staff are chosen for their personality; a clever technique for guests to remember them, and more importantly, remember where they met them.
Rooms are beautifully decorated, contain all what luxury and technology would require.
Double rooms stat from £535 per night.
