Craven Cottage, home to Fulham FC, is known to be one of the oldest and most intimate of English football grounds. And the stadium, which sits on the banks of the River Thames, is set to host the Saudi Super Cup.
The anticipated match between Saudi League rivals Al-Ahli FC and Al-Hilal FC was in question over doubts regarding the issuance of UK entry permits or travel arrangements for some of the players, including the superstar of the Saudi league, Omar Al Soma, who is a Syrian national. But the British embassy in Saudi Arabia confirmed that the visas will be ready in time for the game.
The match will take place on Monday August 8 at 7.30pm and tickets can be purchased here.
