Tiny Chelsea house sells for £113k over asking price

A tiny, 26 square-metre (290 sq ft) home in Chelsea became famous after going on sale for a whopping £600,000.

And within a few weeks the owners received 18 bids – and according to The Telegraph the buyer had to pay an extra £113,000 to beat the other buyers to the property.

The home was finally bought for a cool £713,000 – or about £2,400 per square foot.

The new owner told the newspaper that he expects his investment in the house to be a successful one, and believes the price of the property will go up by 30% over the next 10 years.
