The Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum in South Kensington contains about 80 million items within five main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy, palaeontology and zoology. It is particularly known for its famous dinosaur skeletons – guaranteed to get a ‘wow’ from the kids. It is one of three major museums on Exhibition Road , the others being the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. While entry to the museum is free, an admission charge sometimes applies to temporary exhibits.
