This tapas restaurant on Adelaide Street in Covent Garden is part of the London institution for Spanish cooking that is Barrafina, which runs two other eateries in Soho and Covent Garden.
Barrafina Adelaide St. ranked second in this year’s UK Restaurant of the Year list, having lost its number one position to The Sportsman restaurant in Seasalter, Kent.
Restaurateurs Sam and Eddie Hart and chef Nieves Barragan Mohacho decided to share their secrets when they published Barrafina: A Spanish Cookbook. But they must have known that the book can only make you crave more food at their three restaurants.
If you are the daring type, enjoy the milk-fed lamb’s brain frittata (£10.50), or if you would rather a more familiar taste, opt for chargrilled chicken wings (£7) or the crab on toast (£8). Just remember, this is a tapas bar, so fill up the table with those little plates and indulge in the best of what Spanish cuisine has to offer.
